XenApp Essentials

XenApp Essential ermöglicht einen performanten Zugriff auf die Applikationen, die in der Azure Cloud laufen. XenApp Essential ersetzt die eigene Microsoft-Technologie namens RemoteApp.
XenApp Essential besteht aus zwei Hauptteilen:
1. Die Kernkomponente ist die klassische Citrix Backend Infrastruktur, die in der Citrix Cloud gehostet wird. Diese beinhaltet folgende Komponenten: Delivery Controller, StoreFront, SQL Datebank, License Server, Mangement Consolen und NetScaler.
2. Frontend. In diesem Fall handelt es um die XenApp VDAs (Virtual Delivery Agent oder auch Worker genannt). Die Anwendungen, die Sie dem Benutzer zur Verfügung stellen wollen, werden auf dem Worker lokal installiert. Die Veröffentlichung von Published Desktops ist nicht möglich.
3. Der Citrix Receiver wird für die Verbindung mit der XenApp Server verwendet.
